At Momentum 2002, Trinity Technologies Previews ISE Software for Thin Client Term-Hit-Highlighting and Text Searching of All File Types in Documentum Docbase
Announces Support of Documentum 5; Trinity Exhibits in Booth 402
Orlando, FL — September 10, 2002 — At Momentum 2002, Trinity Technologies announced that it is previewing ISE — pronounced “eyes” — soon-to-be-released software for Documentum that is integrated with the Documentum Intranet Client and lets users search virtually any file format, including drawings in a DocBase. ISE, the Intelligent Search Engine, substantially extends the capabilities of Documentum search functions, and provides seamless integration with both the Desktop and Intranet Client environments. Trinity will be exhibiting its software and services in Booth 402 at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel in Lake Buena Vista (Orlando), Florida.
ISE, which will be available in Q4 -2002, provides full text searching functions for broad queries. Using a powerful search engine to search the Documentum Docbase, ISE provides term-hit-highlighting capabilities to display all of the documents containing the terms used for document searches. Each highlighted instance of the search criteria can be displayed either singly or ISE displays a snippet of the found search words in a preview pane, dramatically reducing the time for searches of any document, and is particularly useful for large documents such as operating procedures, maintenance instructions, licensing documentation, various reports and drawings.
Trinity’s solutions for Documentum are designed to control documents for the total lifecycle of the plant, while providing security, easy administration, and Internet/intranet access to critical data.
In a separate announcement, Trinity Technologies announced support for Documentum 5, the next generation enterprise content management (ECM) platform from Documentum. Trinity is a Documentum Signature Partner that has provided engineering and manufacturing customization and integration services and software for Documentum since 1997.
