ICG and Trinity Technologies Partner to Offer Solution for Email Archiving and Records Management
Companies Partner to Deliver Retention of Email and Records Management Compliance Solution for the EMC/Documentum Platform.
Wellesley, MA — June 9, 2006 — Trinity Technologies Corporation, a leader in configuring, customizing and implementing the Documentum content management system, and ICG (Integration Consulting Group), an enterprise data integration and compliance solutions firm, today announced a strategic partnership to create an integrated email archiving solution that provides full cycle solutions from compliance requirements definition, to solution configuration, implementation and data migration.
Bringing together best-in-breed companies for email applications, strong technology expertise in Documentum, extensive archiving service capabilities and a single point of contact for both compliance and records management is the foundation for the ICG/Trinity partnership.
The ICG/Trinity solution allows companies to derive enterprise-wide management of electronic records, improving their control and effectiveness, and substantially reducing legal risks of non-compliance. Corporations are being required to manage their email in a manner which insures traceability, and the ability to search and retrieve archived emails. Companies are also required to manage email as records with retention policies, and associated disposition criteria, applied on a consistent basis. These requirements are being reflected in numerous federal and state regulations, including Sarbanes-Oxley and SEC rules.
The ICG/Trinity solution builds on the broad set of EMC/Documentum software applications, ranging from EmailXtender, Documentum 5.3, Enterprise Content Integration Services, Retention Policy Services and Documentum Client for Outlook.
